With commitment to our customers and the environment we are excited to announce that as of May 1st -2020, the pilot bits, ring bits, ring bit sets and other equipment manufactured in our factory in Finland will no longer be painted.
While doing our part to reduce our impact on the environment we always strive, not only to deliver exceptional products and service, but also to contribute to a safe and healthy workplace for our clients and coworkers
By not painting these products we have managed to significantly reduce our carbon footprint, while at the same time reduce the amount of impurities spread in the environment through paint shedding.
In addition to the environmental benefits of this initiative we have also helped improve the work site health & safety for our customers. While welding, the burning surface emits gas that through prolonged exposure could have a negative impact on health. This is applicable regardless of what surface treatment is done. By leaving these treatments out we have eliminated this exposure and welding can be conducted in a healthier environment.
